Islay B Murray founded our business in 1854 as Dundee emerged as a national industrial powerhouse.  With a small staff originally based in Union Street, he sought to bring family-values and standards into a property market that traditionally put profit ahead of people.  A vision and core belief that today’s I.B.Murray & Son, now found on the Perth Road continues to follow.

Now in its fifth generation of Murray family ownership, I.B.Murray & Son’s people-first approach has not changed.  As a small business we take time to understand the needs of each of our clients, providing bespoke levels of personal service that have stood the test of time.  Whether it’s letting student flats, arranging commercial leases, managing communal responsibilities, arranging repairs, or overseeing the smooth running of tenancies, we pride ourselves on our responsiveness and quality of service.
